Today genelia won the "Special Juri Nandi award"(state award in Hyderabad) for her film "Katha".
she said on twitter ,"Tweethearts have won d special jury nandi award(state award in hyd) 4katha,I'm thrilled,my 2nd nandi n for such a special film,, yayyyy" and
Was only possible bcos of my fantastic team. My producers 'Just Yellow'thank u aunty urmila n uncle gangaraju 4believin in me n my director2.

“If you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything.” Film-buffs will recognise this line by the legendary Marty McFly from Back to The Future. Right now, I’m putting my mind really hard to the coffee machine so that it brews me a cup by itself. Hrrrmmphh! Not happening! Seriously now, what do you guys say? Who decides what the future holds for us? Our hardwork, efforts, sacrifices or the surreal ‘haath ke rekhayein’? In the end, if there’s a fight between choice and chance, who will destiny pick? Questions galore! No wonder, I’m cribbing for coffee....

So yes, coming back to the eternal debate — that of choice versus chance, of luck versus hard work. US ex- President Harry Truman was of the opinion that, “Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” If you notice, the stronger men, people boasting of real character and courage are not followers of luck. They are not merely destined to succeed, they are determined to succeed. And this is what puts them a class apart.

We, as a generation, have begun to rely a lot less on luck and chance. Luck no doubt is not a player to be ignored but nobody can be as fickle as luck. Luck is like the promiscuous lover — here today, with someone else tomorrow! Luck can point you to the door but only hard work will bring you the key. Even if we are the ‘fast food’ generation and looking for quicker results and double the opportunity, we are driven, focussed and not afraid to work the hours. As long as we are not sitting complacent, we are worthy of every bit of the success that we taste!

It is amazing to see so many young adults making their mark in the world and pushing the envelope every single day. We are no more a nation of luck obsessed romantics, we are a hungry tide of hard-working achievers with our eyes set on the goal, the bigger picture. William Shakespeare said, “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.” Absolutely true that! We aren't mere star-gazers....We Are Star-Chasers!

Genelia's Orange Updates

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s forthcoming youthful entertainer ‘Orange’ is currently being shot in Rama Naidu Studios, Hyderabad. Filmmakers are shooting a song on Ram Charan and Genelia D’ Souza. It will be shot for five days. It is learnt that the filmmakers want to complete the entire shooting in this month and release it for Deepavali in the first week of November.

Ram Charan’s ‘Orange’ is said to be a feel good love story, coming as production No. 7 under Anjana Productions banner. It is being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by Mega brother K Nagendra Babu. Music is composed by Harris Jayaraj. Marthand K. Venkatesh is engaged in editing, Peter Hynes in stunts and Kiran Reddy in cinematography.

Bubbly Genelia and Shahzahn Padamsee are playing heroines while Madhurima Banerjee is doing another key role. Tamil actor Prabhu, Prince Mahesh’s sister Manjula and brother in law Sanjay Swaroop are also playing important roles in the film.

I W'D LIKE TO WORK WITH GENELIA: RANBIR

Ranbir Kapoor says he would love to work with his cousin sister Kareena Kapoor on screen, but never in a romantic movie. Asked if he has been offered any film, he said: "Nothing has been offered to me. I don't think people in the right senses would offer me a romantic movie with Bebo (Kareena's pet 

name). But yes, if there's a movie on cousins, I would love to act with her."

In the past, Kareena too has shown keen interest in working with Ranbir.

Ranbir says he would have loved to work with Madhuri Dixit, but "unfortunately she retired".

"I also haven't worked with so many actresses like Genelia and even Sonakshi. I want to work with all of them," he added.
